See it. Try it. Imagine yourself doing it.

What sparks your curiosity? Something you can build? A problem you can solve? A chance to create, discover or help others?

At Future Now Expo, you can explore how those interests connect to careers and learning opportunities. Meet the people behind the work, discover interactive exhibits and ask the questions that help you picture what could come next.

Join us April 21–22, 2027, at Red River Exhibition Park in Winnipeg. Bring your classmates, explore with your family or come ready to discover a new direction.

Explore interactive exhibits.

Follow your curiosity across the exhibitor floor. Discover displays that introduce different industries, explain how things work and connect ideas with real applications.

Speak with exhibitors about what you see. Ask why a particular tool, technique or skill matters and how it fits into their work. Each stop is an opportunity to discover something new.

Participating exhibitors and their experiences will be announced as the 2027 program is confirmed.

Get involved with hands-on activities.

Look for opportunities to try an activity, practice a skill or take on a challenge offered by participating exhibitors.

Hands-on experiences can help you discover what you enjoy. Do you like working through a problem? Making something? Understanding how a process works? Pay attention to what keeps you curious—you may find an interest you want to explore further.

Activities, age guidelines and participation requirements will vary and will be shared as details are confirmed.

Discover education and training pathways.

There’s more than one route towards a rewarding career. Explore university, college, apprenticeships, specialized training and workplace learning with the organizations represented at the Expo.

Ask about programs, entry requirements, practical experience and where different pathways can lead. Learn which skills you can begin developing now and what your next step could look like.

Parents and teachers can join these conversations to help students compare options and continue exploring after the event.

Meet the people behind the careers.

Start a conversation with employers, industry professionals, educators and training organizations. Discover what they do, what they enjoy about their work and how they got started.

Go beyond the job title. Ask about exciting projects, everyday challenges and the skills that make a difference. You might discover that a familiar interest connects to a career you’ve never heard of.

Not sure what to ask? Start with: “What’s something about your work that would surprise me?”

Watch skills come to life.

Discover demonstrations that show how people use their knowledge, tools and techniques in the real world.

Watch the process, ask questions and learn what happens behind the scenes. Find out how classroom subjects connect to practical tasks and how people develop their skills through training and experience.

Confirmed demonstrations, locations and times will be listed in the program.
